History

God led Pastor Dennis Higgins, my father, to start Harbor Baptist Church on May 18, 1997. We started with just our family in the Palmyra High-school building. I had the privilege of watching Harbor Baptist strengthen and grow under the leadership of my father.

In May of 2008, the door opened for me to begin serving at Harbor Baptist Church. For the past fourteen years, I served along side the people of Harbor Baptist in various roles including school administrator and assistant pastor. In November of 2019, God called my father home to heaven.

Our church family voted to have me assume the role of senior pastor. I am both humbled and thrilled to serve God and the people of Harbor Baptist Church. I am excited to meet you, and I look forward to studying God’s Word together soon!
